Senior Pastor Willie A. King and Pastor Elect Lady Rose King are the founders and senior leaders of The Spirit of the Bridegroom Church, formerly known as Power and Authority Worship Center. Together, they serve with a shared passion for preaching the Gospel, building strong families, and transforming communities through faith, service, and love.

Senior Pastor Willie A. King was born and raised in Winter Garden, Florida, and has faithfully served in ministry for over 26 years, with 15 years in pastoral leadership. He received and acknowledged his call to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ in December 2002 and preached his first sermon in March 2003. He was ordained and later installed and consecrated as a Pastor on November 20, 2010. Pastor King holds a Bachelor of Arts in Evangelism from Bible Truth Institute and studied at Now Faith Institute in Grand Prairie, Texas, where he graduated as Salutatorian of his class.

In addition to ministry, Pastor King has extensive leadership experience in corporate America. He previously worked with UtiliQuest LLC, serving as a dispatcher, technician, supervisor, and manager overseeing the Southeast Region of Texas. He has also been employed with Badcock Home Furnishings for over 10 years, serving as a store manager for the past 4 years. A respected community leader, Pastor King sits on the boards of several local organizations and has served as a deacon, men’s ministry leader, Sunday school teacher for all ages, and minister in churches both locally and abroad.

Pastor Elect Lady Rose King was also born and raised in Winter Garden, Florida, and is a graduate of Maynard Evans High School. She holds a dual Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and Marketing from the University of Phoenix and a Master of Science in Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University. She is currently pursuing her Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership with an emphasis in Christian Ministry from Grand Canyon University.

With extensive training and experience in child development, education, and counseling, Pastor Rose has founded childcare centers and private schools within multiple churches. She has served as the Administrator of Now Faith Institute in Grand Prairie, Texas, and Acting President of Biblical Studies Bible College in Tallahassee, Florida. In the corporate and public sectors, she has worked as a Professional Counselor and held roles with DISC Village, Inc., the State Attorney’s Office, Pulte Homes, and The Morgan Group. She is also an entrepreneur, operating her own Mary Kay Cosmetics business.

In ministry, Pastor Rose has served faithfully as an usher president, choir member, youth president, Sunday school teacher (all ages), administrator, and minister in churches locally and abroad. She is the founder of King’s Alliance Community Development Corporation, an outreach ministry dedicated to serving the downtrodden, homeless, and underserved through food distribution, clothing, prayer, and counseling. She is also a former member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority.

At The Spirit of the Bridegroom Church, Pastor Rose serves as Co-Pastor, Director of the Women’s Ministry, Director of Outreach, Youth Advisor, and Christian Education Teacher, playing a vital role in spiritual formation and community impact.

Together, Pastor Willie and Pastor Rose King are the proud parents of 10 God-fearing children, have helped raise four grandchildren, are grandparents to 50+ grandchildren, and great-grandparents to multiple great-grandchildren. United in purpose and vision, they remain committed to advancing the Kingdom of God and serving others with humility, faith, and unwavering devotion.
